Dear Dr. Deb,
It is so refreshing that we have come a long way in women's health. It is so important to validate the differences of the medical needs between men and women. We can no longer accept for example "It's in your head". There are wonderful doctors out there, but it is good that women are recognized with different needs and that symptoms can be REAL with an underlying cause. We should be, and most of the time I would say are taken more seriously.
Along the lines of women's health, my sister just recently had a smaller sized knee replacement tailored to fit her small frame. That made her more comfortable with her recovery and well-being. I am sure it gave her a positve feeling.
So, thanks again, Dr. Deb for speaking about women's health and encouraging us to be positive and have the courage to get the best care.
Knowledge IS power, and thanks for giving us guidance!
